Our Story

Built by people who've lived it.

Dana and Joe Meyer are parents, former educators, and the founders of Open Meadow. Through their experiences navigating pregnancy, new parenthood, and the demands placed on families, schools, and communities, they kept noticing the same thing: too many digital tools create friction when people need clarity and support.

Open Meadow began with a question: what would it look like to build technology that genuinely supports the moments that matter? Technology that is calm, practical, and respectful of the real complexity of people's lives — without making that complexity worse.

ReadyNest became the first answer to that question. And Open Meadow became the studio dedicated to building what comes next.
